about
Finland's very own Inborn Tendency follows up their last acclaimed EP, "Godkiller," with a brand new single that continues to assault our senses with extreme metal savagery. "Herdless" is the perfect extension of what the band has brought us with previous releases - music that reflects a sense of urgency and uncompromising lyrics with substance.
The mixing and mastering of the song was done by Sami Koivisto (Amorphis, Sotajumala) and the artwork was created by Henri Tervapuro.
"Herdless" gives a first taste of the band’s new, heavier and more versatile sound.
"After a long wait, we are excited to bring our new heavier sound for people to hear!" Inborn Tendency guitarist Mika commented.
lyrics
Am I your enemy?
House of worship, screams of ecstasy
Brothers and sisters stand in unity
Holy chambers filled with revelry
In the midst of an epiphany
99 staring at the face of God
Abyss caught in the eye of one
Almighty, why are you so still?
Everpresent, where are you hiding?
Ever lasting, are you here right now?
All knowing, I am asking why
Entrance granted through conformity
Exit seen as an apostasy
Turning blind eye instead of a cheek
Choice is clear, determined and bleak
Almighty, why are you so still?
Ever present, where are you hiding?
Everlasting, are you here right now?
All knowing, I am asking why
I am asking why
Don't you care about
The ones left behind?
Almighty, why are you so still?
Ever present, where are you hiding?
Everlasting, are you here right now?
All knowing, I am asking why
Are you with us here right now?
Are you with us here right now?
Are you with us here right now?
Where are you hiding?
